Sunday 23rd April 2006 SimplyWi-Fi installs at Devils Dyke just outside Brighton, East Sussex!

You should see our www.simplywifi.co.uk Wi-Fi network popup on the horizon sometime early Sunday afternoon from our new hilltop location? thanks to the Devils Dyke WLAN Project now both networks will share hardware in our 2 Radio WrapEngine, the same location with lots more bandwidth and fully IP67 outdoor hardware with 4 antenna. feeding both local coverage and coverage up to 10miles away hopefully

Community wireless networking

Recently we acquired five wireless mesh nodes in Findon Village / Findon Valley supplying many paid clients with free access in areas of the village and valley. we are expanding this year with nodes being added up on Brewers Fair that should enable links from Worthing to Findon

Free access hotspots.

Soon to be available at Montague Place our first subsidised wireless access node in Worthing. Passers by will be able to browse the Internet free of charge this summer on their mobile devices or laptops. have a drink, maybe something to eat @ Luna Cafe our hosts for the first node! Other subsidised  and free access nodes will be appearing all over Worthing over the next few weeks.

Fixed point wireless connections.

We still offer a paid connection scheme where users pay £1 per day or £20 per month for unrestricted residential or fixed point access, long term connectivity possibly replacing the need for ones own copper connection into the house.

Temporary Wireless Internet.

We are able to supply Internet on demand at locations where broadband is not available in areas around Sussex, with reliable service at a reasonable cost.
